Animal Rescue - Dog Many pets are lost and escape on to the freeways each year. We do our best to rescue as many animals from harms way as we can. Sometimes they are injured and we need to rush the animal to a vet hospital. Our goal is to reunite them with their owners. .

Fire / Rescue Assist Crashes and medical emergencies are a common occurrence on the roadside. On the spot EMT or Paramedic care saves lives.

Fires Vehicle fires run the gambit from fully engulfed vehicles to roadside brush fires.

Animal Control Officer After rescuing so many large and small animals form the roadway we decided that certified training would be a big help. Currently CVS Samaritans are required to take the NACA Level-1 Animal Control Officer's Course and receive National Animal Officer Control Certification.

EMT Certification CVS Samaritans are required to be State Certified EMT's or Paramedics.
